It’s not just male fans who are jockeying for IU‘s attention, but colleges as well! It’s been revealed that colleges are competing heavily with one another to draw IU in as a student.
Even though IU decided not to attend college this year, she’s still receiving love calls from various institutions in Seoul. Her popularity skyrocketed after her big hit, “Good Day“, and representatives feel that her image as ‘the nation’s younger sister’ will help boost promotions for the college.
According to a source, IU is receiving special admission from ‘K University’, ‘S University’, and ‘H University’.
It’s a tempting offer, but IU has stuck to her guns and said, “When it’s time, I’m going to be accepted into college through my own skills.” IU’s agency also stated, “IU has a major she wants to pursue. When she’s be able to properly study, she has the hope that she can use her own talents to get accepted into college.”
IU had stated in March on MBC‘s ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star‘, “Even if I did study in college, I wouldn’t be able to go [to college] properly. I want to go when I will be able to do it properly.”
